Liz Rizzo
Liz Rizzo, formerly owned a country market and take out restaurant in the pines of northern California, where she created recipes and made gourmet lollipops. She moved to Hawaii in 1991 from Scottsdale, Arizona where she managed a bakery and specialized in custom cakes and handmade candies. Liz made a guest appearance on the cooking show "Cooking With Rita Davenport" in Phoenix, Arizona. She appeared on Olelo TV Hawaii cooking up her Hawaiian Sunshine in a Jar. Her background is diversified. She has worked in Special Events, science lab assistant for 9 years at Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu, financial planner, nanny, restaurant management, and artist's rep. In addition she worked as a volunteer at Hanauma Bay, Hawaii Theater, Diamond Head Theater, Olelo Public Television, project coordinator for the Bruddah IZ sculpture project, Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Counselor in California, pet partner visitation St. Francis Hospice Hawaii, Shelter of Wisdom homeless men's shelter advocate Honolulu. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chaminade University and an Associate in Science Administration of Justice Sierra College. Her true love is traveling and discovering new foods and ways to create recipes that are unusual.
